Christmas is gone, spring seems a long way ahead - but enjoy the month's offerings. Surprisingly there's a lot of seasonal food available at this time of year.
January is also a great month to enjoy fruit crumbles. You'll be seeing Bramley apples, rhubarb and pears this month - try adding a small amount of fresh ginger, dark chocolate, or even chilli to add a surprising tang.
*Produce is sorted into 'fruit' and 'vegetable' by how we tend to eat them, rather than the technical fruit/vegetable division.
