Seasonal produce in April - Cardia:Food
April brings beautiful textures - enjoy cauliflower and purple-sprouting broccoli.

Try steaming vegetables to maintain that texture 'al dente', and experiment as the season bursts to life with new additions to salads.

Now's also the time to put sunny windowsills to good use and try growing pea and beanshoots.

*Produce is sorted into 'fruit' and 'vegetable'  by how we tend to eat them, rather than  the technical fruit/vegetable division.
